Hedera Fibers Is a small business I started officially in 2011. In the beginning, all of my yarns were handspun and in small lots. For six years, I worked to design and develop a machine capable of spinning yarn, all while establishing this small venture as a wholesale independent dyery. However, Hedera is capable of more than just yarn; we have a hand powered machine knitters for production knitting as well as embroidery work, and printed textiles.
Our mill focuses on natural fibers such as wool, alpaca and silk and Is capable of spinning a fine lace weight up to a DK and Chunky weight yarn. We focus mainly on short variegation and marled yarns. We also have turned are focus to local sources for fibers. In the coming year, Hedera's goal is to expand production for local representation.
